U.S. Rig Count Rises To 8 Month High As Permian, Eagle Ford See Decline
The oil rig count now stands at an eight-month high at 432 sites – but still 163 rigs lower than the 595 figure that we saw one year ago.
WaterSeer may be the answer to creating water self-sufficiency
Sounds great... but there are some obvious questions. First, the device is dependent on the wind to spin its turbine, so how much water can be produced when the wind doesn't blow? And second, if warm air is continuously drawn into the collection chamber, that is obviously going to gradually raise the temperature of the soil surrounding the chamber, so doesn't that lower efficiency and decrease the amount of water that can be condensed? I'm not saying that the WaterSeer is no good, just that we need to realistically assess technologies. -- RF

The US has often been eager to make much of Iranian naval vessels getting "dangerously" close to US warships, but today's hype surrounding an Iranian deployment into the Gulf of Aden really stretches that beyond credibility, with officials desperately trying to connect this to US ships also being off the coast of Yemen.

Wall Street Journal Finally Breaks: "The Press Is Burying Hillary Clinton's Sins"
Even the Wall Street Journal is now fed up with the biased media coverage of the 2016 Presidential election as revealed by a scathing article written by Kimberly Strassel, a member of their editorial board.  As Strassel points out, it's almost impossible to turn on the TV without hearing about Trump's "lewd" comments while coverage of Hillary "uniformly ignores the flurry of bombshells" inherent in the various WikiLeaks, FOIA releases and FBI interviews.
