Wither the "Rout" in Government Bonds?
The Government "bond rout" didn't start with Trump's election victory. It started in July. And it didn't just hit US Treasuries. It hit government bonds around the world. It's predicated on the idea that inflation was raising its ugly head again. That idea has now become further entrenched.

Riot declared in Oregon as anti-Trump demonstrators damage cars, buildings
Protesters are aiming expressions of their dissatisfaction at the wrong target. Realistically and objectively, America (and the rest of the world) wouldn't be any better off with Clinton. Instead, people should be protesting the de facto one-party system that gives them a choice between equally vile alternatives, while shutting out other candidates, and they should be protesting the lack of instant runoff voting, which would let people vote for the candidates they really want, without being branded with the word "spoiler." That's what we call a rigged system. That protesters are venting their spleens on Trump instead of on this rigged system indicates how badly they are brainwashed. Instead of protesting Trump's victory now, they should have been (nonviolently) protesting the choice between these two awful candidates from the outset. -- RF
